31 January – Otepää People’s Rally 2026
In the heart of winter, a true grassroots rally takes place, marking the opening round of the Estonian Rally Cup season. The snowy Otepää People’s Rally, held for the first time, comes this year with a fresh new format. This time the competition will be a one-day event, with all planned special stages driven on Saturday.
6–7 February – European Sauna Marathon
A fun orienteering-style challenge between saunas, where teams aim to visit as many sauna locations marked on the map as possible within the given time. Teams consist of four members, and a car with a designated driver is required.
14–15 February – Tartu Marathon
The 52nd Tartu Marathon brings thousands of cross-country skiing enthusiasts to the tracks from Estonia and abroad.

12–15 March – BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon
The BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup stage brings the world’s best biathletes to Estonia. Over four competition days in Otepää, the programme includes sprint races, pursuit races, mixed relay and single mixed relay.
Every Friday from 15:00–18:00 at Otepää Central Square
The farmers’ market “Otepää OTT” offers fresh and authentic Estonian food, sweets, vegetables, local meat products and unique handicrafts.
26–27 June
Retrobest celebrates its 10th anniversary! Headliners of the two-day festival include Spice Girl Melanie C and Modern Talking founder Dieter Bohlen. Many other world-famous artists will also take to the stage.
