Otepää, known for its stunning landscapes and outdoor activities, also offers a rich gastronomic and cultural experience.

Immerse yourself in a world of delicious flavors and unforgettable adventures! The popular Otepää Restaurant Week, “Flavours of Otepää”, takes place twice a year – in spring and autumn.
Local flavors and culinary experiences
The highly popular Otepää restaurant festival Flavors of Otepää (Otepää Maitsed), will take place from April 10 to April 20, 2025.
The festival menus feature exciting delicacies, with this year’s selection offering a particularly rich variety of seafood and allowing creativity to soar freely. Participating restaurants offer tuna, gilt-head bream, octopus, monkfish, and pike-perch. The menus also include duck, chicken, beef, lamb, mushrooms, ravioli, and a variety of vegetables. Desserts are especially tempting, complemented by a selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Ugandi Resto will once again offer a special children’s menu.
A three-course special menu will be available at local restaurants for € 30-€35. Advance booking is required!
This year, the festival welcomes two new participants – William Willa and Kodas, located on the border of Otepää and Kanepi municipalities.

The Otepää Flavors festival is organized by Otepää Municipality Government in collaboration with local businesses, with support from Otepää Municipality. The event is funded by LEADER Measure 3 – “Strong Networks” (October 14, 2024 – October 25, 2024) and supported by Valgamaa Partnership Association.

Starter: salad with goat’s cheese and crispy Italian bread. Watermelon, grapes, green salad, avocado, balsamic vinegar sauc
Main course: octopus tentacles prepared in a truffle marinade and fried in garlic butter: served with young roasted vegetables and caper and Greek yoghurt sauce.
If the octopus is not to your taste then the tentacles can be replaced by chicken
Dessert: refreshing sour cream and strawberry sorbet
Priekšēdiens: kazas siera salāti kraukšķīgās itāļu maizes panējumā. Arbūzs, vīnogas, zaļie salāti, avokado, balzamiko mērce
Pamatēdiens: Ķiploku sviestā cepti un iepriekš trifeļu marinādē marinēti astoņkāju taustekļi: Pasniegti ar jaunajiem grauzdētiem dārzeņiem un kaperu-grieķu jogurta mērci.
