Ugandi Resto’s Otepää Flavours menu is inspired by spring nature and the ingredients of South Estonia. Bear meat salad in a malt basket opens the journey of flavours, with organic lamb from Ala-Mähkli Farm at its heart, accompanied by nuances of wild garlic and spruce shoots. For dessert, hazelnut and chocolate meet in an elegant entremet.

To accompany the Otepää Flavours menu, we recommend carefully selected drinks paired by Liviko sommelier Urvo Ugandi. The wine selection moves from a fresh and berry-forward rosé to an elegant Syrah, finishing with a classic Italian dessert wine. The non-alcoholic pairing begins with a fresh rosé-style drink, continues with a darker berry cuvée, and ends the evening with an aromatic cherry cola.

GMP Pühajärve Restaurant

Our special menu takes you on a journey through local nature and cultural history. The starter is inspired by the nearby Sõjatamm Oak and its mighty trunk – the dish also reflects bold and slightly “warlike” flavours. The main course draws its essence from the nature of Lake Pühajärv, highlighting its rich plant life and calm, balanced form. The dessert is a tribute to the work of Konrad Mägi – its colour palette is inspired by his paintings, one of his best-known works having been created right on the shores of Lake Pühajärv.

Pühajärve Restaurant is one of the few buildings in Estonia originally built solely as a restaurant and still continuing in that role today. The building was completed in 1960 and is included in the list of the international organisation-network for documenting and protecting 20th-century architecture.
